If I can't sleep, I don't usually try to fall asleep; it's a good opportunity to
do some random stuff, so I just do that. Browse around, play games, watch
anime/movie/tv shows... etc.
I listen to both anime and non anime music. I guess I just listen to anything
good that I get exposure to, and since I watch anime, some of my music comes
from there.
As for lyrics, I don't really mind whether I understand the language or not.
Yes, it is that time of the year for me too. The week after next, I will be
having three midterms. That is certainly going to be rather dreadful.
One thing I have learned though, is that getting a good night's sleep is not
necessarily the best thing to do (at least not for me). Cramming is much more
important than getting that 8 hours.
In celebrating the end of a midterm is when I sleep.
I voted for sleep. My rationale is that if one is asleep, usually he will not
feel much hunger. The converse of this statement is not necessarily true.
I have seen my share of disgusting cosplayers who completely ruined my image of
an anime character. I don't cosplay, and I hope I don't have to see some ugly or
fat persons dress up as my favorite characters ever again.
Albeit if one can pull it off, I am totally fine with that, though I haven't
seen too many who can.
Of course, anyone's free to do what he wants; I just discourage cosplaying for
those who know they're not exactly the best fit for certain characters.
If it is truly a really bad problem, I think you should seek some real
counseling with a shrink or a therapist. That might help you out a lot. However,
one thing that helps me calm down in bad situations is that I would look at what
the worst outcome could possibly be. Then things usually do not looks so bad.
Anyways, best of luck to you and I hope you become as mentally strong as you
want.
Other than the quality, the leaves above the character does not really fit.
Further, the leaves in the foreground look out of placce too. I hope this helps
and everything works out.
In addition to the things pointed out by those other people, I'd like to mention
that there is a few stray lines in the sky, and the grass definitely needs
reworking; I can see the bottom of some of the grass brushes. Anyways, I hope
this helps and I hope everything works out.
A lot of all of these I think is in the interpretation. As such, fairy tales may
be a more accepted children media because they lend themselves easier to milder
interpretations than some violent video games or such. For example, it is much
easier for children/ parents to interpret violence in fairy tale as justice, but
maybe not so much for the violence in Grand Theft Auto.

Further, most fairy tale books do not come with violent visuals.
I think I feel almost exactly the same way you do. I am rather annoyed by
Yoshida too. I understand why the series would want to have a foil type
character of Shana, but she is just plain annoying. I hated Yoshida especially
during the part at the festival when Shana gets all dressed up for Yuuji and
Yoshida has to ruin the whole deal.
Quote: their most sacred goal is
to see us fall as a country.
Sara-ane, are you serious in your believe that all Muslim's most sacred goal is
to see America fall?
Please, at least first consider that not all Muslims are extremists and many are
American living in America as well. Your attitude is quite racist.
Quote: I have a Koran. A muslim
girl gave me one in college.
By the way, stating that you have a Qu'ran clearly proves that your point is
valid.
I really like Orochimaru. He is such a beast and he has got one big ambition.
For similar reasons, I like Itachi.
I really dislike Sasuke because he is so narrow sighted and one dimensional; his
whole life revolves around Itachi.
Archer, terrorism is hard to stop. If terrorism were easy to stop, then they
would not cause any terror, thus it would not be terrorism. A non extremist
would probably have a hard time convincing an extremist to stop their
activities.
In any case, just because you do not stop something, does not mean you support
it. I mean, I assume many people here are not actively stopping terrorism, does
that mean we all support using violence as a method to get points across? I
think not.
I simply do not agree with your logic.
^as a matter of fact alot of people find personality more attractive than
looks
...I am sure there are many psuchc eople out there. Sure, for a meaningful
relationship, there has got to be personality involved. But I doubt anyone would
actually be satisfied with an ugly partner. As a matter of fact, most people I
have seen first chase someone because they thought they were good looking, not
because they were nice.
After reading yours and Lemon's posts, I tend to agree with Lemon for the most
part. There is no way people prefer an ugly person to a good looking person,
just as people prefer someone with a good personality to a bad one. But in first
being attracted to someone, I am convinced that you judge them by their looks
not their personality.
Also, I tend to agree with Lemon's comment about nice guys. From what I have
seen, girls do not like guys who are whipped. They want confidant, charismatic
alpha males who stand their grounds. Sure they would like some guy who fetch
them everything they need, but those guys are not going to gain any respect, and
hence they are not alpha males, meaning they do not get girls.
Nice wall; it is quite cute, though there are some stuff needing fixing.
Aside from the blur, as many have already said, the flower's noise is kind of
bad. I think you should just make it solid. The wings do not look attached;
perhaps that was the point, but they look out of place. Especially when they are
dotted like that. Also, I find the dots in the bg slightly annoying after a
while, but that could just be a personal preference thing.
By the way, across her arms, there is a dark line; I do not know what that is,
but I am guessing that should not be there.
First, I agree that sideways is way too disorienting, so I have changed it to a
slighter rotation.
LENS FLARES are out. How's the new lighting? Does it look all right?
I added a sort of grainy effect to the scan and bg as well, hoping to tie them
up with that.
Also, I took out the motion blur reddish things. In its place, I just had red
dots... now that its red not pink, it should be more obvious that they are
blood. The blood spot at the corner is also necessary to hide the missing Kirika
legs.
Last thing I did was just add some smoke and gun light... not so confident about
the smoke...
Thanks for the comments. They were really helpful.
I made another version before I read your comments, and I suppose this new
version is lacking some of the stuff you guys mentioned... for example, there is
the lens flare.
Anyways, the main difference now is that I have rotated it slightly, so it is
more interesting. The person has fallen now and is looking at his murderer from
his side.
Thanks for the comments, and no, I do not think I will put text. I personally do
not like texts and I can not think of anything meaningful to say. Anyways, is
there anything else I should do to improve this quality wise or conceptually?
Ok, I realize this might sound shallow, but I find that looks is the the most
important thing. Of course personality counts, but it is hard to have a
meaningful relationship if you know you can not proudly say, check out how hot
my bf/ gf is. I guess for me it would be sort of 70-30. There is a reason why
there is so much emphasis on cosmetics, fashion, and such in the media today,
because for many people, looks are still really quite important.

I almost never skip endings or openings, unless they are horrible, as is with Strawberry Panic's ending. Those were just plain freaky.
Computer almost exclusively and usually at night.
^ mistake? how is losing your virginity a mistake?

Wow, thanks everyone for all the really really helpful suggestions and comments.
Ok, lets see, quite some changes: http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/2149/noirvpk5.jpg

So please critic this again and tell me all the little/ big tihngs I need to fix.
Those pink dots are blood splatters on his eyes... uh, I just thought it looked kinda empty without something.
Again, thanks for any comments.
Ok, I tend to agree with the unnecessary dots and beams, so I took out all those stuff.

Anyways, I think there is something missing in the wall, but I do not know what is though.
Again thanks for any help.

The idea behind this wall is that this is what one of the faceless man would see right before they die from getting shot by her.
